Marguerite Thomas has performed for a number of prominent agencies and companies in varying capacities.
For Powerhouse Communications, a small advertising boutique specializing in the personal touch, she excelled as the Creative Director.
For Capital Records in New York City, Marguerite was a press agent providing news and stories for national media for new artists to the label.
In the area of news, Marguerite was an award-winning newspaper writer.
She also had a large following as a features, educational, and political reporter for a Washington Post-owned Southern Maryland newspaper. For the Washington Post Gazette papers she covered Maryland State and local politics and wrote a weekly Reporters Notebook column.
Marguerite twice won awards for best feature story as a journalist
Marguerite won the MDDC Award for Investigative Reporting and the MSAT School Bell Award for best feature
series for her reporting work.
